Carl I have to ask about this.

> Earlier this year, several news outlets reported on increasing openness to Christianity among Silicon Valley tech elites. The stories focused on the work of an organization called ACTS 17 Collective, whose name is both a Scriptural reference to Paul’s preaching in Athens and a backronym for Acknowledging Christ in Technology and Society.

Do you think this could have been inspired by your evangelism at Burning Man? And if so, are they cynically appropriating your message in order to dupe Christians who are suspicious of big tech people?

I love what you are doing, and when I was younger and in better health I would have considered going (if Burning Man had existed then). My life has subdivided into "in the faith" and "away from the faith" phases, being back "in" for the past 11 years. In the first "away" years in my 30s (1980s) I visited Esalen twice and attended Robert Schwartz' Tarrytown Tent show several times, among other things I won't even mention.

I wasn't researching, but rather learning the hard way what's out there to fall for. At 75, donations and prayer teams are more my speed. I'll see what I can do.
